The day after going to the amazing fireworks in Namur, we started another camping trip. This weekend we started in Dinant to shoot the fireworks over there but because it was set off on the bridge, we had to drive all the way around to be able to reach our composition spot and luckily we were right on time.
Afterwards, we drove a to our sleeping place. It was near a ruin so in the morning we had a beautiful overview over Dinant. Also, the weather was awesome, it was hot and most of us woke up due to the sun burning on our tents or the van.
In the afternoon, we explored an old cave tunnel. We wanted to bbq in the evening at the same spot as the night before but it was raining so much and we saw a forest ranger driving by so we did not feel comfortable enough to stay overnight at the same spot. We tried to search for a new wild camping spot in the neighborhood but since the environment is filled with commercial campings, it’s was too hard to find one at that moment.
We decided to drive to Durbuy and spent the night at a place we discovered the weekend before. It was a real adventure to bbq through the rain and set up our tents in the mud.
The next day we started where we left of the weekend before and continued our weekend with a tour in Durbuy.
We had a nice walk in and around cozy Durbuy and afterward, we went back to Kanne, our second home. Again a great weekend.
