It was great weather so my spring feeling brought me somewhere in Borgloon, a small city in Limburg, Belgium. I went to check out an art installation called ‘Reading between the lines’. This piece of art has the shape of a church and it was the first in a line of works created to bring art outside. I went there early in the morning but there still were a lot of people so even after all these years, it’s still popular. It’s chosen by the British newspaper ‘The Guardian’ as the most beautiful place in Belgium. It represents the merger of art and nature and that’s why you can actually look through it when you are looking at the right angle.
The installation itself consist out of 100 steel plates and is 10 meters high.
It’s possible to go inside.
